…. After the Koreans stole the phone, I get another Nokia phone (yes, I am a very happy Nokia user back then!)
The Nokia 6233!! The phone now MUST have cameras, music player, external memory storage, speaker (for loud speaker), bluetooth, internet browser (through GPRS.. do you even use GPRS now?) and many other functions.. I got this for RM900++ ( I’m surprised myself that I can memorise the price.. XP ).. And this one was also stolen 3 years after I bought it(moral of the story: be careful of your personal belongings.. bastards are everywhere and shit happens!!)
And then I came to Perth and phone carriers here give out free phones (or with some fees each month) when you sign a plan with them. and I got..
Nokia N73! for AUD 29 + 10 per months.. (Its new back then.. I regret getting it for that price..) This phone is basically an upgrade of 6233 (in every way!) and its still with me.. Too bad it doesn’t read Chinese characters, it would be perfect if it does (I guess Aussie version of this phone don’t have Chinese installed)..
The contract expires and I then get another new one! This time I wont pay extra fees for the phone!….
